Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of VidStudio (the “Service”), operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. Payments

Razorpay processes payments for credit-pack purchases; we are the seller and handle all customer service for them ourselves. Prices shown at checkout are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include any taxes that apply.

2. The Service

VidStudio turns a script or a voiceover you provide into a narrated, subtitled video: it plans shots, generates a voiceover (for scripts), matches stock footage or generates images, and renders the video. You can edit shots and render again.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secret.

4. Credits and payment

  • One credit is one second of finished video. A render is charged when it starts.
  • If a render fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
  • Generating and editing are free, but you need enough credit to render the video you generate.
  • Credits are bought in packs at the price shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Free credits may be withdrawn if abused.
  • Credit-pack purchases are final for now, except where the law requires a refund or we discontinue the Service. If a render fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the scripts and recordings you provide. You give us permission to store and process them, and to send them to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, only to provide the Service to you. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including consent from anyone whose voice you upload.

6. Videos you make

Subject to these terms, you may use the videos you render for any lawful purpose, including commercially. They can contain stock footage from Pexels and Pixabay, used under those libraries’ licences (which, for example, forbid selling the footage on its own or implying that people shown endorse you), and AI-generated images. Scene plans, voices and images are machine-generated and can be inaccurate: review your video before publishing it. You are responsible for what you publish.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to create or distribute content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploits minors;
  • infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
  • impersonates a real person or presents fabricated events as real in order to deceive;
  • promotes violence, fraud or other harm.

You must not probe, overload or bypass the Service’s limits or security, or resell access to it. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the Service we will refund unused purchased credits.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by [governing law, e.g. the laws of India], and disputes are subject to [courts with jurisdiction], except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring claims there.
